The Fairshare program is a way to encourage families to volunteer at their school and parish, and it invites families to be an active part of our school community by encouraging friendships and camaraderie with others. It also offsets the cost of educating our students.

Fairshare Expectations:

| Fairshare dollars | St. Ignatius School families support school fundraising activities through a $450 Fairshare Dollar commitment ($250/single parent households) each year. This includes $50 for auction procurement and the remaining $400 through the Jog-a-thon, auction donations or raffle ticket sales. Fundraising chairs will work with the school office to keep track of each family's Fairshare Dollar commitment. | | --- | --- | | Fairshare hours | St. Ignatius School families make an annual commitment to participate in school and/or parish activities for at least 30 hours each year (15 hours/single parent households). Hours served for the benefit of the parish or the school may count toward your Fairshare hour commitment or parish participation requirements. For additional information see Tuition, Fees, and Assistance [here]. Double hours are credited for cleanup after evening events.

Families must track their Fairshare hours and report them. Fairshare hours must be completed and reported by April 30th to qualify for that school year.

Unfulfilled hours will be billed at the rate of $30.00 per hour, which must be paid by the end of the school year. For information on volunteer opportunities open the link [here.] | | Auction procurement | Each family will solicit the donation of one new item or service with a value of $50 or greater for the auction. These items are due no later than 30 days before the auction. |
